Alec started drifting as a hobby in 2013 after building a 1986 Nissan D21 drift truck in his garage.
After a few years of grassroots events he decided to take it to the next level and try his hand at Pro-Am competition. He took the Midwest Drift Union by storm in 2016, winning the series his rookie year and earning a Formula Drift license (the only driver in history to do so in a truck.) The following year he built a Nissan 350z and moved up to Formula Drift Pro2.
In 2019 he placed 2nd overall in the series and moved up to PRO level competition in 2020.
