Biography
Matt Rusiecki is a dedicated drifter from Abbotsford, BC, Canada, and the founder of Matt Rusiecki Racing (also competing with Living Legends Motorsports). He began drifting in 2013 and moved into competitive events in 2017 behind the wheel of his 2003 Nissan 350Z powered by a supercharged LS.
A two-time Grassroots Champion (2017, 2020), Matt is also a back-to-back Evergreen DriftCon Champion (2024, 2025) and the 2025 Spec D Drift Series Champion. A career highlight is earning his Formula Drift ProSpec licence. Off-track, he works as a specialty TIG welder and fabricator—bringing the same precision and craftsmanship to his builds as he does to his driving.
