Biography
Growing up in Cape Town, South Africa i always had a love for motorsport. I first saw drifting live in 2009. At that time i was racing go-karts and fell in-love with what i saw. Just 1 year later i had the opportunity to join a drift team. I trained for just more than 6 months before i started competing. I have won 4 National Drift Championships in South Africa, finished top 3 in the overall championship every year i competed. Came 2nd in Gymkhana Grid against Daigo Saito in 2018. Competed in the world finals of the Red bull car park drift in Saudi Arabia in 2022 and finished 8th out of 28 drivers in a borrowed LHD car. Drove in some non competitive events across Europe like Gatebil in Norway, Tahko on ice in Finland and a couple drift sessions in the UK. This year will be my 16th year in drifting. Relocated to Canada with my wife at the end of 2023 and imported my RHD Mustang to Canada when we relocated. Now, i finally get to live my dream of being in Formula Drift, 16 years in the making.
