Cody Buchanan is a driver from Fargo, North Dakota, with a deep passion for drifting that began in high school. With no local track, he trained on back roads and traveled to out-of-state events to refine his skills. In 2018, SRD collaborated with ND Drift to build Interstate Raceway, just minutes from Cody's hometown.
After competing locally, he decided to take drifting outside of the local area. Traveling around various competitions, he earned his Formula Drift license in 2021 at Vegas Drift. In his rookie year of 2023, Cody finished 14th overall. In 2024, he finished 4th overall (tied for 3rd) and earned the title of Fan Favorite Driver.
