Biography
Cody Buchanan started drifting for fun in 2013. In 2019, he began competing locally. In 2020, he and a group of friends started traveling across the U.S. to compete.
After earning a ProSpec license in 2021, he worked his way up through the ranks. He made his ProSpec debut in 2023 in Formula Drift and was voted the ProSpec Fan Favorite in 2024.
In 2025, Buchanan captured the ProSpec Championship, earning his move up to the Formula Drift PRO series, where he competes as a rookie in 2026.
