Ryan Tuerck is a leading social influencer and pro racer. A regular podium finisher in Formula Drift, he drives the Papadakis Racing Rain-X Toyota GR Corolla.
The driver’s commitment to the sport’s grassroots, and talent in front of the camera have brought him a social fanbase of 1.7 million followers. His build legacy includes the Stout, the Formula Supra, and the new Celica GT411, and started with the viral Toyota GT4586 build released in 2016. His inventive first project inspired the genre of build content online when he paired a Toyota GT86 with a Ferrari 458 engine to generate some 70 million digital impressions.
Tuerck started his motorsport career on two wheels, racing AMA motocross through his early teens. He developed a passion for drifting at age 16 while learning to control rear-wheel drive cars on the snowy winter roads near his family’s New England home. He soon became a regular at Club Loose events on the east coast and began competing in Canada, where he immediately won back-to-back national championships (2005, 2006), before moving to Formula Drift.
In addition to a full competition schedule and serial build projects for YouTube, he recently founded 411 Works, manufacturing and selling premium automotive fabrication parts. Outside Formula Drift, he runs a robust appearance calendar, counting GRIDLIFE, the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the F.A.T. Ice Race, and the Velocity Invitational among some of his favorite stops in recent years. He lives in New Hampshire with his wife and two young sons.
