Living up to the spirit of grass roots drifting, Ross Petty has become a well-known figure in the sport successfully combining his skills as a driver, master mechanic, and entrepreneur. Raised in Okinawa, Japan — the heartland of drifting — Ross has lived and breathed the sport from a very young age. He quickly came to realize what a big part of the Japanese culture drifting was, when he turned 18 he bought his own vehicle and begin participating in the sport. In 1999 Ross moved to Hawaii, and hit the American drift scene with perfect timing. He won the Signal Auto Drift Challenge and the Falken Drift Showoff and six-time winner of Drift Session in Hawaii. Since then Ross has been an icon in the sport of drifting. For 2012, Garage BOSO has constructed a very Forceful Nissan Silvia S15 with as much character as its driver.
