Luke started racing Sprint Karts when he was around 11 years old. After winning various classes and racing those for 5 years he moved onto regular cars and started with open track days. He would always get black flagged for sliding the cars around like a Sprint Kart so naturally once drift events started popping up he was hooked. He has competed and placed on the podium in Us Drift, NCDA events, Formula D Pro Am, and others. Last year he finished the Pro series in 32nd place and had some great finishes. Placing 12th at Irwindale, various "one more times", and some great tandem battles. In 2010 he finished the Pro Am championship season in 2nd place, then had a strong finish at Irwindale for nationals. He has been active in the drifting community since 2002 helping to promote, organize, and judge at various events till this day.
