Justin Pawlak From Pro-Am to Formula DRIFT Podium, Pawlak has already made his mark in his second professional season  I started drifting in 2005 at the Industry Drift Day events. In 2006 I joined JustDrift and won the 2006 JustDrift series getting an invitation to the 2006 Formula D pro-am in which i took 3rd place earning a Formula D License. In 2007 I participated in the HIN drift demo tour along with competing in the Los Angles Nopi drift event in which I took 1st place. Also in 2007 i finished in the top 16 at the Las Vegas D1 event. 2008 was my first year competing in the Formula D pro series. The season started out strong with a 9th place finish at Long Beach, but then I encountered some engine problems that plagued my car for the following two rounds. I finally got things sorted out and grabbed two more top 16 finishes, one being a podium finish at Irwindale at the end of the year, leaving me a seeded driver (16th overall) at the end of the season. This gave me an invitation to the Red Bull World Drifting Championship in Long Beach. I'm looking forward to this 2009 Season and all that it may offer. |
